I destroyed my knee with an epic fall from my bike early yesterday morning, when my portfolio strap detached and whacked into my front wheel. Went down really really hard. The skin on the front of my knee is chewed up or gone, it's STILL BLEEDING, wtf.
But there's a possible ligament injury, so today I'm going in for an x-ray (don't really think anything's broken, though), and Monday I've got an MRI appointment. They gave me a knee brace and crutches, awwwww. The brace is painful, it's probably the wrong size... so I'm being a bad person and not wearing it.
Still, it was an interesting day. I had my first experience with the student emergency team, got to ride in the back of a police car... woot woot. Though I missed an important nude model class, grr.
SO, good news tiemz.
I actually got an A- on my art history paper when I was dreading a D, OH WHAT NOW BITCHES.
And for next semester, I now have the most gorgeous schedule ever, after massive registration success.
Monday:
Death and Dying in Medieval Europe
French 4
2D Design (with the non-douchey professor, AWRIGHT)
Tuesday:
Drawing (with the same slightly crazy and completely awesome professor as this semester)
Intro to Modern Art
Wednesday:
Same as Monday
Thursday:
Same as Tuesday, but every other week with a discussion group for Modern Art
Friday:
Death and Dying
French 4
And it's only Tuesday and Thursday that I start at 8 AM. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday = 10 AM. SWEET BABY JESUS, I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO NOT HAVING FOUR 8 AM DAYS IN A ROW.
Yeah, I dropped Japanese. Not because I like taking French more, and not because I dislike the professors (because I love the professors). I just hate the course. It's boring, I zone out in class, and the textbook is a pile of poo. If there was a more interesting or challenging Japanese course, I'd stick with it. Plus, it also ate up time in my schedule, being five days a week and a total of seven hours. The French class looks like it'll be more challenging, my friends in that course are happy and like it a lot, the textbook looks pretty decent, and it's only three hours a week. So yar. French it is.
Also, why wasn't anyone to whom I mentioned the death/dying class as interested or enthusiastic about it as me? I think this has to do with what my AP concentration did to me, bahaha....

My small online Store.
You know... I've got a Shlomi somewhere... but since Laras came out so bad on camera (taking photos of pictures doesnt seem to work) I thought I'd wait until I find a working scanner. But now I'm inspired so I shall work harder.
QUEST TIME.

I have satire for furniture and eyeliner is god.
Aghh I had to take photos without a tripod for the majority of my digital slides, because they were all too big for my scanner... I've become quite good at standing really still in awkward positions.
And thank you!

In creating art, we should approach it with the same intensity, purposefulness, and sensitivity that a spider does when making its web.
